Basic Body Pepper

Basic body Pepper was introduced in 1963 and was 91/4" tall with markings G-9-W 1 on her back. Her original outfit was a red and black check playsuit.  She came with various hair colours, blue eyes and freckles. Pepper had her own wardrobe of clothes.

Pos'n Pepper

The Pos'n Pepper doll came out in 1964 and had the same head & body markings as the basic body 1963 doll.  She wore a sailor outfit with bra top, white trousers and sailor cap and white shoes.  In her box she was packaged sitting on a cardboard swing.

In 1965 a new basic body and 'New Pos'n Pepper' was introduced.  Head markings for both dolls was 1965 IDEAL TOY CORP P9-3 and 1964 IDEAL 2 DO-9 on the right hip.  The basic body 'New Pepper' came in a red mini skirt and a red/white striped crop top with fringe.  'New Pos'n Pepper' had a dress with a multicoloured stripe top and red skirt, lace trimmed knickers and white shoes.
