Introducing the Family
Tammy's Dad
Tammy's dad was produced in 1963 and was a 13" doll with vinyl head and arms. His non-bending legs and body were plastic. Markings on his head were IDEAL TOY CORP. M-13 2 and on his body IDEAL TOY CORP. B-12-1/2. Dad had brown painted eyes and brown moulded hair. He came dressed in a red striped shirt, navy trousers and black shoes. Dad shared a wardrobe of clothes with his son Ted.
Tammy's Mom
Tammy's mom also produced in 1963 was 12.5" tall with vinyl head and arms, plastic legs and body. Head markings read IDEAL TOY CORP. W-13-L and IDEAL TOY CORP W-13 on the body. She came with blonde hair originally styled in a french pleat and was dressed in a navy floral dress with red buckle belt, red strappy high heeled shoes and a pearl necklace. Mom had her own wardrobe of clothes
Brother Ted
Ted was produced in 1963 as a 12.5" doll with vinyl head and arms and plastic legs and body. Markings on his head were IDEAL TOY CORP. B-12-1/2-W-2 and on his body IDEAL TOY CORP. B-12-1/2. Ted had brown eyes like dad and light brown moulded hair. His original outfit was a striped t-shirt, bermuda shorts and white shoes. Pos'n Ted came out in 1964 which allowed the doll to have a full range of poses. The markings on the Pos'n Ted body are IDEAL TOY CORP B-12-1/2 2 - the head markings are the same as the basic body doll.

Introducing her Friends
Tammy's Friend Misty
Tammy had a friend given to her in 1965. She was a 12" doll called Misty. Glamour Misty (The Miss Clairol Doll) had a vinyl head, arms and plastic legs and body. Head markings were1965 IDEAL TOY CORP. W12-3 and 1965 IDEAL 2 M-2 on her right hip. Misty came with platinum blonde hair which could be tinted to blonde, red or brunette. Her eyes were green. Misty's feet were shaped for high heeled shoes and she came wearing a pink frilly underwear set with a chiffon sleeveless jacket. Another version of this doll was the Pos'n Misty who came in a telephone booth box wearing a silver jumpsuit. Misty shared Tammy's wardrobe of clothes as seen in Tammy's wardrobe 'grown up fashion'.
Tammy's Boyfriend Bud
In 1964 Tammy was given a boyfriend called Bud, a 12.5" doll with brown eyes and dark brown moulded hair. He had a vinyl head and arms and plastic legs and body. Head markings were 1964 IDEAL TOY CORP. T8 12-W-2 and body IDEAL TOY CORP B12-1/2 2. Bud is a rare doll and came in the same outfit as brother Ted.
